Our team has gone rafting with Wet Planet every August for nearly two decades. It’s a fantastic way to take in the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and we’ve always had the best guides.

Just like Elk Cove, Wet Planet was founded by a couple driven by their passions. After talking about it for years, Shirley from Elk Cove and Jaco at Wet Planet designed a collaborative multi-day adventure on Idaho’s Main Salmon River and it exceeded our expectations! This will be our third year joining Wet Planet out on the river for a Gourmet Food & Wine Multi-Day Rafting Trip on the Main Salmon River in Idaho.

This trip is open to all of our fans – with Elk Cove wines along for the ride. Come play on the river, experience the wilderness and toast each day’s paddling with a glass of Elk Cove Wine. Cheers!

About your host Shirley Brooks, Elk Cove VP of Sales & Marketing (& Paddler!)

Shirley Brooks travels the globe as brand ambassador for Elk Cove in markets new and old. She added a rafting adventure into Elk Cove’s annual sales retreat weekend – and nearly 20 years later, we still raft with Wet Planet every August! An active supporter of the Oregon wine industry, she has served as a board member for both Oregon Pinot Camp and the Oregon Wine Board Export Committee. In her free time, you’ll find her outdoors enjoying one of Oregon’s great hiking trails or rivers.
