Our 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir won Gold at the 2016 Cascadia Wine Competition which took place at the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel . This is a massive wine event with judges from around the Northwest who work in all aspects of the wine industry. The wines are tasted blind and it’s worth checking out the list for award winning wines of several varietals from Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. We are proud to have placed gold in this large field of great wines.

“Aromas of cherries, sweet oak mocha and raspberries. Fleecy, muscular tannins coat the mouth and wrap around a core of cherry, cranberry, crushed nuts and sweet oak. The nutty qualities and oak dominate the finish with a mocha scent. Very good acidity.” – Alder Yarrow

A blend of mainly Pinot Noir, the 2019 ‘Mount Richmond’ is dense and delicious on the mouth. Loaded with pear and baked apple flavors with wild strawberry and starfruit tones, this is rich and viscous stuff, with tons of salty nuance. Enjoy now and over the next eight to ten years. Drink 2026-2036.

The 2019 Elk Cove ‘La Boheme Brut Rose’ Sparkling Wine is vibrant pink in the glass. It comes off loaded with intense red fruits with blood orange zest, cardamom dusted French bread and stony minerals on the palate. The soft mousse and wonderful sense of weight entices from this slightly cooler vintage. Drink 2026-2036.

The very mineral-laden 2019 Elk Cove ‘Goodrich Blanc de Blancs’ Sparkling Wine comes from the Goodrich Vineyard. All Chardonnay, this delivers bright citrus blossom water and freshly cut limes on the palate alongside sourdough bread notes. This would be a tasty foil for Kusshi oysters. Drink 2026-2036.
