Winemaker Adam Godlee Campbell joined forces with his parents at Elk Cove in 1995. Adam studied political science at Lewis & Clark College while working summers at the winery. When not doing blending trials or collaborating with other second generation winemakers, Adam can be seen tromping through the vineyards or playing ping-pong with his wife Carrie and their three kids, Georgia, Silas and Francis.
Anna grew up at Elk Cove and worked a harvest every few years before returning to the family business in 2012. Trained as a photographer, Anna manages our website, creates marketing materials and runs our social media. Anna can often be found chasing after her twins, Sylvia and Raymond.

Aron hails from Santa Fe, New Mexico where he worked in the restaurant industry as a bartender and beverage manager. He moved to the Northwest to join the Elk Cove team in 2013. He enjoys hiking, snowboarding and cooking up fabulous dinners complete with Oregon mushrooms he forages himself. Sometimes he even brings in chanterelles to share!
Sales Manager (USA)
Cam Christie joined the Elk Cove team in January 2017. He spent a decade working in wine starting in the Caribbean, Burgundy and London and then most recently he managed a team of eight specialists across Northern California for Moet-Hennessy’s Champagne Portfolio. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, cycling, hiking, camping, film and literary fiction.
Sales Manager (USA)
Claire shares the responsibility of our sales and brand management across the country with Todd. She joined the team at Elk Cove in 2013 and has been educating our staff on proper Southern terminology – she’s from South Carolina, y’all! When not on the road promoting our wines, you can find Claire with her two rescue dogs, Stephen and Magnolia.
Tasting Room Manager
Elissa joined the Elk Cove team in March 2017. Her interest in wine started in 2007, her last year at Linfield College, when she started taking care of a small vineyard outside Hillsboro and making wine from that year’s harvest. Since then Elissa has worked in Sales and Hospitality at Adelsheim Vineyard, Domaine Drouhin Oregon and Blizzard Wines. She is a born and raised Oregonian who enjoys hiking the Pacific Northwest, exploring the Oregon coast and enjoying the food, beverages and urban setting of Portland.
Before joining Elk Cove as Sales Coordinator in February of 2018, Kaitlin was part of our 2017 Harvest Crew. Kaitlin grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Dixie State University in Southern Utah. After graduating with her degree in Psychology, Kaitlin moved to Oregon to be closer to family. Her interests include traveling, hiking and cornbread.
Heather Perkin has been with Elk Cove year-round since 2006. She studied winemaking at Adelaide University in South Australia and interned at several wineries in Australia and New Zealand as well as at Elk Cove. When she doesn’t have her nose in a barrel or her head in a tank, she can be found training for half-marathons with husband Andy and keeping her fearless Yorkshire Terrier, Zoë, away from skunks.
José Sotto has been working in Elk Cove’s cellar since 2003. He keeps wine production running smoothly year round – he’s also our resident jokester. During harvest, José leads the Spanish-speaking morning punch-down crew. When not topping barrels or running the bottling line, José might be in Tillamook fishing for steelhead with his kids, Luis Gustavo, Julia, and Diego.
Direct Sales Manager
Katherine joined the Elk Cove team in January 2017. Her wine interest was piqued in 1998 by a visit to the Bonny Doon Vineyard Tasting Room in the Santa Cruz Mountains, which ultimately led to selling Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for both Adelsheim Vineyard and Bergström Wines. When she’s not working, you’ll find her enjoying the perks of living in the Pacific Northwest, including hiking the Gorge, biking along the Bend River Trail or enjoying some of the finer beverages crafted in Oregon.
Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant
Kim has been with Elk Cove since 2009. She studied finance at OSU and worked in the accounting field before entering the wine business. When not processing wholesale orders or answering the phone at Elk Cove, Kim might be antique shopping or hiking in Oregon with her family.
Robert Verant started working for Elk Cove in 2002 as a bookkeeper and over the last 10+ years has worked up to the newly formed CFO position. He studied accounting and business administration at Pacific University in nearby Forest Grove and graduated in 2002. He spends most of his free time with his family, enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and playing baseball (yes hardball) for a local men’s league where he runs a team sponsored by Elk Cove.
Tasting Room Sales and Hospitality
Sabine has been working in Elk Cove’s tasting room since 2016. After living in Los Angeles for ten years, she spent two years studying Art History in Lugano, Switzerland before falling in love with Oregon. In her off time, she enjoys travelling, cooking and photography.
VP of Sales and Marketing
Shirley has been working at Elk Cove since March of 2000. She travels the globe as brand ambassador for Elk Cove in markets new and old. Shirley is an active supporter of the Oregon wine industry and has served as a board member for both Oregon Pinot Camp and the Oregon Wine Board Export Committee. In her free time, you’ll find her outdoors enjoying one of Oregon’s great hiking trails or rivers. By all means, do not disparage her Detroit Red Wings!!
Wine Club Manager
Taylor joined the Elk Cove team in February 2018. Her entry into the world of wine was circuitous; dancing across the globe led her sampling wines of the world. A California native, Taylor arrived in Oregon on a Graduate Teaching Fellowship at the University of Oregon. When she’s not working, you can find her volunteering on the Wallow Arts Foundation board, a local non-profit rooted in arts education, getting her hands in the dirt or studying to become a certified sommelier.
National Sales Director
Todd has been with Elk Cove since 2011. He provides sales support and education to our wholesale partners across the USA. He also donates time to support Oregon Pinot Camp, as it’s his favorite wine event in the world. Todd is our resident BBQ & Fried Chicken expert – he’s from NC after all! Other interests include frequenting blue water beaches & mountain biking in Oregon.
Travis Watson has been Elk Cove’s vineyard manager since 2002. He does everything from planting new vineyards, to managing pruning and thinning, to heading the construction of our new fermentation halls. When not at Elk Cove, Travis spends time camping and doing archery with his kids, Tate and Hannah.
