2014 Roosevelt Pinot Noir

Neal Martin, writing for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, gave our 2014 Roosevelt Pinot Noir 93 points:

“has quite a complex bouquet with scents of lavender and potpourri infusing the black fruit. The palate is silky smooth on the entry with supple tannin, gorgeous red cherry and blackberry fruit mixed with white pepper, clove and bay leaf. It gently fans out to a very convincing finish that neatly disguises the new oak. Again, it will require 4-5 years in bottle to really show what it can do…”

2014 Pinot Noir Reserve

Neal Martin, writing for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, gave our 2014 Reserve Pinot Noir 94 points:

“It has an intense bouquet with red and black fruit, touches of undergrowth and wilted violet petals that are very well-defined. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red and black fruit, the oak neatly embroidered into the fruit, very smooth in texture with a touch of allspice and clove toward the sustained finish. It is tightly coiled at the moment, but I am sure it will age into a very serious Pinot Noir…”

2014 Mount Richmond Pinot Noir

Neal Martin, writing for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, gave our 2014 Mount Richmond 92 points:

“It has a fresh and lively bouquet with ebullient red cherry and red-currant fruit (similar to a Shea Vineyard). The palate is very smooth with supple ripe tannin, well-judged acidity, harmonious and seductive with a touch of undergrowth on the finish. This is a very well-crafted Pinot Nori with pedigree and I can see this aging with panache.”

93 Points in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

2014 La Boheme Pinot Noir

Neal Martin, writing for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, gave our 2014 La Bohème 93 points:

“a more broody and introspective nose than its peers: blackberry and wild hedgerow, tightly wound at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, the 15% whole cluster lending a subtly forest floor note, good density in the mouth with firm backbone on the finish. This deserves 3-4 years in bottle before you reach for the corkscrew, but it will be well worth your patience.”
