Summer Hike – Wild Old Vines
July 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 amFree
This is the second in a series of Summer Hikes at Elk Cove. This hike focuses on our oldest vines and the wilderness surrounding the vineyards.
Join us on a morning hike in the vineyard! We’ll explore the rugged pathways around our Old Vine blocks as well as the wetlands and forested areas of Elk Cove. Along the way, we’ll stop to enjoy the views and tell stories about the history of the property.
We recommend sturdy shoes, long pants and a moderate level of fitness for this rugged experience out in the vineyards. The hike is approximately 2 miles with hills and uneven ground. If you’d like to enjoy a tasting flight after, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance for a tasting at noon.
About your host:
Second-generation Campbell family member and Elk Cove Creative Director Anna Campbell grew up here at Elk Cove. She worked in the vineyards and wineries along with her 4 siblings. You’ll often find her exploring our estate vineyards, camera in hand, taking photos for our website and social media.
