New Orleans is coming to the Vineyard!

Join us for a NOLA style Jazz Brunch featuring a live band, Cajun and Creole food by EaT Oyster Bar and Elk Cove wine pairings. We’ve done many successful events at Elk Cove with Tobias and Ethan shucking oysters. This year we are bringing them out for a full New Orleans style experience with multiple courses and entertainment by musician Pete Krebs.

About EaT:

Ethan, who was born and raised in Texarkana, AR, attended The French Culinary Institute in Manhattan. After working in restaurants for several years in New York City, he packed up and moved to the West Coast. In 2006, Ethan was the opening chef for the super busy Everett Street Bistro. In the spring of 2007 he decided to take the helm of much heralded Andina Restaurant ( Oregonian’s Restaurant of the Year.) Missing his native cuisine and having a love for oysters, Tobias and himself opened EaT: An oyster bar in November of 2008, with the intention of creating an oyster eating culture and authentic Southern food in Portland Oregon.

Pete Krebs has been a member of the Portland, Oregon musical community since 1988. His bands have included Hazel, Golden Delicious, The Stolen Sweets, The Portland Playboys and Thee Catnip Brothers, exploring genres as diverse as punk rock, gypsy jazz and traditional country.
