Repeal Day Party
December 1, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
SOLD OUT
PROHIBITION IS OVER! We’re celebrating – in the cellar. Join us for a playful, afternoon of music, performance, fermented and distilled drinks, food and period costume for this open house style lively experience.
Travel back in time with us to 1933 when the 18th amendment was repealed and wine, beer and spirits flowed (legally) once again in the USA. This Progressive tasting experience celebrates the 85th anniversary of the end of prohibition. We’ll have a special wine tasting featuring our Roosevelt Pinot Noir (thanks FDR!), beer from pFriem Family Brewers and a custom cocktail creation by Bull Run Distillery: The Seelback: Whiskey and bitters, topped with a sparkling wine float & the NY Sour: a Pinot barrel finished whiskey sour with a pinot noir float!
All accompanied by pairings by Alchemy NW with a 1930’s flair including:
Boozy Stuffed Dates
Oyster Rockefeller Toast
Herb-Crusted Pork Tenderloin Crostini
Stuffed Mushrooms
We’ll also have a performance by BodyVox Dance Company, live swing music by the Hey Ho Trio, prizes for the best 1920’s costume, a photobooth and more. This is one party you don’t want to miss. All in our Big Red Fermentation Hall.
