2017 Clay Court
This wine opens with aromas of pie cherry, pinesap and wet bark. Red fruited with a clay minerality, the purity of fruit on the palate evokes ripe red strawberry and raspberry tea with a backbone of smooth tannins and a graceful, flinty char.

“Made from Pommard and Dijon vines set atop Parrett Mountain, this is a spicy wine with pinpoint flavors of mountain berries, backed with juicy citrus…”
– Wine Enthusiast (October 2019)
90 Points
“scented of loamy earth, blackberries, black cherries, black tea leaves, cinnamon stick and sweet spices. It’s medium-bodied with a good core of black fruits, a grainy frame and great freshness, finishing spicy.”

STAFF PICK
I love Jory soil because that’s where Clay Court comes from… It’s such a beautiful wine – really smooth but also lingering… It’s a great stand-alone wine – you don’t need food to enjoy it. I like to say it’s “deliciousness in a bottle”.
