Dusty rose in color, the nose features lime peel and pink grapefruit beside hints of dried mango and white flowers. The palate is both juicy and robust with flavors of strawberry, peach hard candy and lime meeting a pithy finish of pink grapefruit, sarsaparilla and rose petal.

The fruit for this all Pinot Noir Rosé is hand-harvested from our estate vineyard sites in the Willamette Valley. For the Rosé, we choose both young and old vines from higher elevation vineyards. These give us full aromatic and flavor development as well as great freshness of fruit within a framework of lower alcohol.

Pinot Noir fruit for our Rosé is hand-harvested very ripe and gently whole bunch pressed with limited skin crushing, which makes virtually a “white Pinot Noir”. The wine is fermented cool in stainless steel tanks. Then carefully selected lots of fermented red Pinot Noir juice is blended back for color and texture. Our Pinot Noir Rosé is finished completely dry.

With cherry cordial, dried strawberries and dark chocolate on the nose, this fruit-forward wine’s cherry, cranberry and black currant flavors lead into a supple finish of spiced tea, orange peel and leather.

Our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is made with 100% estate-grown fruit from all six of our vineyard sites: The Winery Estate, Mount Richmond, Five Mountain, Clay Court, Goodrich and Windhill. These sites are comprised of both Pommard and Dijon plant material, with multiple clones represented.

Because we draw from vineyards representing all three of the major Willamette Valley soil types, we are able to pick and choose for different flavor components to make the best possible blend each year for our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Some people call this making wine “spice rack” style, we usually just call it delicious. Our goal is the perfect version of what we believe a Willamette Valley Pinot should be: a wine with freshness of fruit, well-integrated alcohol, and great concentration of flavor.
