2001 Pinot Gris

The 2001 Pinot Gris is a wonderful example of a classic cool climate Pinot Gris. It shows pretty notes of apricot, tangerine and honey with a touch of lime and citrus on the nose. On the palate, showing true Elk Cove style, it gives richness, intense sweet fruit while finishing crisp and clean. All this makes for a superb food wine with pairings from Salmon and main-course salads to the spicier spectrum of Asian and Thai influenced dishes.
